The Tuber Aestivum, or summer truffle, is
harvested during the summer, from the months May to September. The high
temperatures during these months gives it a mild aroma and its flavor,
also amazing, is sweeter than that of the winter truffle.
The outside of
this truffle is dark in color and a light brown color with white streaks on the
inside. Its flavor is perfect for people who like milder, less intense
flavors. This truffle still has a lot of possibilities in the kitchen. The
fresh Tuber Aestivum truffle is
the perfect accompaniment for lending summertime recipes a touch of flavor,
though it can also be canned to enjoy all year round. Nothing beats slicing or
grating a fresh truffle at just the right time of year. This product is sent
vacuum-sealed with a total weight of 100 gr. It is sent with cold packs to keep
it fresh during transport, so it will arrive with all its flavor and aroma. The
package may contain more than one specimen.
Fresh

The truffle
is sent vacuum-sealed with special moisture absorbing paper and packaged to
keep the cold chain unbroken thanks to an ice pack and protective cardboard
packaging.
Store
refrigerated between 1º and 5º degrees Celsius and consume preferably within 8
days. Preferably consumed fresh, requires no cooking.
